Following in the footsteps of last year's winner, Lee Loi Chieng, Alexander McGill, a Third Year student, is representing Holy Family Community School in the 2011 Eircom Junior Spiders web design competition. Alexander's entry can be viewed at www.playstationer.net and he  has been short-listed for an award.

Holy Family Community School mourns the tragic loss of former student Ciaran Jones. We extend our deepest sympathies to his parents, John and Brenda, and to his loving sister and brother, Michelle and Alan. We also extend our deepest sympathies to his
devoted girlfriend Clare and to all his uncles, aunts,
cousins, relatives, friends, G.A.A. and Rugby associates. We pray for them all at this very difficult time. Ar dheis De go raibh siad.

Welcome to the new Academic Year |

Holy Family Community School welcomes back all its students and teachers for the Academic Year 2011 - 2012 on 29th and 30th August, 2011. All First Year and Fifth Year students are to attend on Monday, 29th August from 8.55am until 1.00pm. First Years should go to the Assembly Hall and Fifth Years should go to Phase III for their induction. Classes for all students will resume from 8.55am on Tuesday, 30th August onwards. All students are expected to have the relevant books and equipment required for their classes in with them from Tuesday onwards, unless they have been otherwise informed. We look forward to a great year's work from all students.
