Useful Information for all students and parents |

Classes begin at 8.55 and finish at 3.45 (1.05 on Wednesdays). Students must be in 5 minutes before class.

There is a 10-minute morning break (10.55 – 11.05). There is a 40-minute lunch break (12.25 – 1.05).

All students must purchase a dialann (student diary) from the school. The dialann contains most of the information the student needs e.g. calendar, bus timetables and Code of Behaviour and Discipline etc.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Year students must stay in school during lunch break unless going home with written permission of parents and home pass.

There are vending machines and a sandwich service available in school at lunch break.

Students may rent a locker from September to May.

Mobile phones must be turned off except at break times. Students are not allowed use phones in the toilets or PE hall.

Our uniform supplier is Mrs. Frances Mallon (01-4589931). Parents are notified of dates for ordering uniforms.

The school calendar is sent to parents with the booklist in July.

The school’s bookshop is open from mid August until the end of September. Application forms for book grants are sent out to all parents.

The students’ personal accident insurance scheme is organised by the Parents’ Association. Students are encouraged to avail of this service.

The voluntary contribution scheme is organised by the Parents’ Association.
